5 out of 5 stars Tales of a great winger   July 7, 2008

If you are a Wolves fan and particularly if you watched the Wolves in the 70's this is a must read. Waggy gives a great insight into the life of a 70's footballer, and it wasn't the pampered luxury that we assume footballers enjoy today. The book benefits from having been written by Waggy himself and not ghost written, because the person and personality come through clearly (but he does leap about a bit on occasions). It brought back a lot of memories from that era for me (and also a lot of frustrations, such as not having won the UEFA Cup when we could have done) and reminded me what a good, yet underrated, team the Wolves had in the early 70's. A very enjoyable read - highly recommended.
