Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Butcher!   April 15, 2006
Twazzer (Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire)
An enjoyable, rip-roaring account of an iconic English football, who epitomises the traditional bulldog image of a belligerent English defender. The book undoubtedly shows Butcher as an intelligent and perceptive football and he displays great honesty on all aspects of his career. THis is most notable when he accounts for the more negative espisodes in his life, especially when dealing with his more tempestuous displays on the football pitch.

An excellent account of a life of a modern footballer.
