If you are serious about your off-piste skiing you must own this book. It is totally inspirational, detailing personal accounts of Jimmy's skiing experiences, the focus of each of his dits is steep off-piste skiing and ski touring. His stories are interesting, informative and really try to give you a feel for the essence and character of the ski area. Each account is illustrated with beautifull photos.
It contains all the usual favourites in Europe and N America, but also areas as diverse as Morocco, Iran and Greenland. This adds a travel adventure element you're unlikely to find in any other ski guide. The book is big - A4 size and 440 pages.
If your bag is on piste skiing this book will be of little interest, however, if you want to lay fresh tracks in the best and most interesting mountains across the globe I can't recommend this book enough.
