5 out of 5 stars brilliant adventurous book   February 26, 2007
jppyro (gosport, hampshire)
this is a brilliant adventurous book for both boys and girls. Its about a cub pack who go on camp and on the way there they find out a about a poisonous snake which has escaped, presumably from a local zoo, and which may be heading towards the campsite however when they arrive a series of other strange events occur which they put down to the naughty twins but is it all as it seems? brilliant original story line and excellent characters, great read for all ages and genders

3 out of 5 stars This book was very adventurous.   January 20, 2000
This book was very adventurous but not my kind of book because it is too much of a boy's book. I have given this book 3 stars because it is a very good storyline but it is not for both boys and girls. In the story a pack of cubs go on a trip and they find a china bird in the bin, they take it back to the camp and they do clay fragments of it. They put the best fragment in a hole in a tree with the china one and because they were so alike the thief accidently took the clay one. When the cubs find out they had to find out who had taken it, where and why.

3 out of 5 stars I would recommend this book to an adventurous boy.   January 20, 2000

I didn't like the bit where the author made a spelling mistake. I would recommend this book to an adventurous boy who likes to read. I wouldn't recommend it to a girl. I would recommend it to a cub to tell the younger cubs. It is about a pack of cubs who go on a cub camp. Their tents get ransacked, do we discover "who done it"?

4 out of 5 stars I liked this book because it was exciting.   January 20, 2000

I liked this book because it was exciting. It is about a pack of cubs that find an Ibis, and two men called Mufussa and his partner try to get it back. They dress up as Mr Smith and his nurse. I would recommend it to people who go to cubs, to tell at night. I would not recommend it to girls because it is very adventurous.

2 out of 5 stars This book is more of a boys book.   January 20, 2000

This book is not the sort I really like and I would not look for another by the same author. This book is more of a boys book because it's about cubs that solve lots of problems. It all started when Sam found the Egyptian Ibis which is worth 100,000,000's of pounds, and can the cubs track down their enemies?
