Fab book - but wrong edition! June 27, 2008 Jess Jones I love this book - but beware - I bought the cheapest paperback edition, but it turned out to be a US edition and uses the word 'diapers'. If you want your copy to say 'nappies' then don't buy the edition published by Kane Miller.
Great book! June 22, 2008 A. Sessions (UK) My son loves this book, in fact he likes all "little princess" books after seeing the show on TV. I think I had to read it to him 8 times yesterday. Very good for getting him used to the idea of using the potty. About to start training him soon...here goes, wish me luck!
Potty trained in one week ! September 24, 2007 Laurence Whitton (Reigate, England) The week before our daughter turned 2, I got her the book. I read the review and thought it would be fun. For one week, everytime she sat on the potty we would read her the book... she loved it, so did we!!! I am now buying her the i don't want to sleep... she has now a toddlers bed and keep on escaping it at night... hopefully she will remember the little princess and follow the instructions!!!
Don't waste your money on this book June 22, 2007 YummyMummy (West Oxfordshire, UK) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
What a great opportunity missed. A princess who is potty training and decides after a while that she likes her potty, then after a long drawn out search from the demanding and spoilt Princess and the whole household looking for her potty, it doesn't reach her on time. This is how the book ends. It's no problem when accidents happen, but the story could go on to show how sometimes she makes it and sometimes she doesn't. There is no good practice here and its a real shame.
An answer to a desperate parent's prayer! July 28, 2003 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I sent this book to the son of a friend. He was refusing to dispense with nappies in spite of being a very intelligent four year old. They read it together and he got the idea immediately. I can't promise that it will work that swiftly and effectively every time, but it might help!
