5 out of 5 stars Fantastic - a delight for children & parents alike   July 2, 2008
M. Pugh (UK)
This book is excellent. My brother-in-law bought this along with "The Bedtime Bear" as a Christmas present when my now almost 3 year old son was about 5 months old. The book got put away and forgotten about at the time as he was too young. We found the book last week and got it out as he is now big enough for it. I have never seen a reaction from him quite like this one! He loves reading anyway (always insisting on reading it himself) but this book is without a doubt his favourite. I have lost track of how many times he has read it since we got it out for him!

The tabs aren't very good for little fingers, but if you read it together you can 'help' and hopefully the book won't become too damaged.

An excellent story, well illustrated and very interactive.

4 out of 5 stars A Good Laugh   May 8, 2008
K.E.C. (UK)
This book isn't a story but a book to look through with your child and pull tabs etc. Of course they love the subject matter and thought it was great fun trying to find the tickle monster. A great fun book, I'd buy it again as a gift.

4 out of 5 stars Highly recommend   January 15, 2008

Although I agree with another reviewer that the tabs can easily be broken, this is a firm favourite with my daughter.

5 out of 5 stars An absolute must have!   January 1, 2008
P. Mumford (Shropshire UK)
I bought this when my son was 20 months old, he is now 2 and for the last 4 months we have read this story (his choice)every night before bed.It also gets brought to me to read to him at various times of day as well! All this use & the flaps still work!!!!!
It is a joy to drive along & hear him shout "Chase me Charlie", "Splash me Ashley" and, of course, when I ask if he is tickly, the response that comes back - "No! I'm sticky mummy!"
This book is such a joy to read for both my son & I if/when the flaps do wear out I shall not hesitate to buy another.

2 out of 5 stars Not well made   October 25, 2007
Moser Heidi (Italy)
The book would be interesting and exciting for toddlers, but I find it is not very well made. The tabs are not tough enough adn easily ripped off, or get stuck and therefore don't work anymore, particularly when two-year-olds try pulling them. I was rather disappointed with the book.
