Watch out for an AMercian version October 20, 2008 pollmeister (London) Great book - we love The Little Princess. But my copy was an AMERICAN version which irritated me hugely as it uses vernacular like DIAPERS and PACIFIER. Grrrrrrr.
Fab book - but wrong edition! June 27, 2008 Jess Jones I love this book - but beware - I bought the cheapest paperback edition, but it turned out to be a US edition and uses the word 'diapers'. If you want your copy to say 'nappies' then don't buy the edition published by Kane Miller.
Great book! June 22, 2008 A. Sessions (UK) My son loves this book, in fact he likes all "little princess" books after seeing the show on TV. I think I had to read it to him 8 times yesterday. Very good for getting him used to the idea of using the potty. About to start training him soon...here goes, wish me luck!
Don't waste your money on this book June 22, 2007 YummyMummy (West Oxfordshire, UK) 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
What a great opportunity missed. A princess who is potty training and decides after a while that she likes her potty, then after a long drawn out search from the demanding and spoilt Princess and the whole household looking for her potty, it doesn't reach her on time. This is how the book ends. It's no problem when accidents happen, but the story could go on to show how sometimes she makes it and sometimes she doesn't. There is no good practice here and its a real shame.
Our daughter really enjoy this book March 14, 2007 Mrs. Evy J. Mackland Not sure how effective it is for potty training, but my daughter love this book. We are not actively doing potty training at the moment but are reading books to try and inform her of what is coming. At times she ask for the toilet other times she don't but overall this book and the book called "I want my dummy" is amongst her favourite books at the moment. She keep wanting to read about the princess. The books seem to appear to her humor and it is easy to use different voices etc whilst reading which catches their imagination.
