Just what a beginner was looking for July 2, 2008 H. Jones (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
As a complete beginner, overwhelmed by all the books on scrapbooking out there, I'm glad I chose this one. Particularly helpful to me was the list of items you need to get started, and the information on how to trim and display your photos.
Great book November 13, 2007 Rosaleen Gillespie (Ireland) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I just LOVE this book! Good layout ideas and properly explained for the beginner. I find myself referring to this book again and again and again. Especially when I think my LO's are getting 'busy' looking, it makes me rethink my LO to get a page that is much cleaner and keep focus on pic that the Lay Out was intended for in the first place. Highly recommended from me,( a beginner!)
Perfect for the beginner February 2, 2006 M. Georgiou 46 out of 46 found this review helpful
A smashing little book suitable for the absolute beginner. It only has 48 pages but covers everything you need to know to make a start on scrapbooking including tools & materials, cropping, matting, colours & layouts, journalling & eyelets & embellishments. I bought it as a gift for a friend completely new to scrapbooking and am very pleased with it. I particularly like the fact that it's not obsessed with the distressed look which some designers seem to be at the moment. If you're familiar with scrapbooking it would not be a lot of use to you but, as I said, perfect for the beginner.
