This is a good text to start any analytical chemistry course. A text which is comprehensive and also easily understood with clear illustrations and good explanation. Suitable for advanced undergraduate students in any analytical chemistry course. A good reference too for higher levels such as MSc or as a research reference.

I have found the book useful on the 2nd year of my analytical module of my chemistry degree. It covers not only the techniques used for analysis but the analytical process and has been of great use with assignments. It also includes diagrams of analytical equipment showing how they work with photographs which show you what to expect in the lab. the solutions to the exercises are in the book itself which is useful for self study. the maths in the book are well laid out and explained. overall it is a useful book when studying analytical chemistry.
