did not help with my geology gcse April 6, 2008 knocked out '73 woke up (shropshire uk) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this bible - thinking it to be ultimate unchallengable Truth - but when I failed my geology gcse I suddenly remember that the bible was actually a cobbled together, contradictory and antique bundle of opinions and nonsense.
A worthwhile resource April 6, 2008 S. Jameson (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
All crystals seem to have some sort of hidden healing power, this book helps you select the one that is right for you. A real treat to even read about the obscure cystals, too. Well worth the invetment if you want to learn about these magical stones of life.
Definitive it is! January 21, 2008 J. J. Rowley (Loughborough, Leics) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A very good book which I use often to check out stones and use her other books eg encyclopedia of crystals and new crystals. Worth it for a reference book.

Whoever wrote this is very clever to have written a best-selling book consisting of facts made up entirely on the spur of the moment. For the same reason, please check out the 'Angel bible', the 'homeopathy bible', the 'pixies-at-the-bottom-of-my-garden bible' and the book I'm currently considering writing, the 'underpant bible' about the healing power of underpants. It's all to do with quantum vibrations. And energy and stuff.

It seems there has been a little negativity about the contents of this book. I do not feel that this is justified. As the book does contain true and factual information regarding the correct properties of Crystals. It is important for readers to remember, that each author will always have diferent things to say about each Crystal's properties. And this is a positive, because if every book were written exactly the same. Then there would be no need to explore other sources of information. Generally, this book does manage to list the main healing properties of Crystals, that are commonly known in the subject of Crystal Therapy. Aswell as including a lot of unknown, and new information about certain crystals. Including new and recently discovered crystals. I have gained extra knowledge insome part from this book, and i have read many books on Crystal Healing, aswell as having a qualification in this field. I would reccommend this book to complete beginners in this subject, who would benefit from the easy, non jargon way that the author communicates. And equally to the seasoned reader and practitioner of Crystal Therapy, As there is always something new to learn. And this book does contain information worthy of reading.
