Brilliant! Invaluable for anyone sitting the theory test August 15, 2001 PJ (Scotland) This book is a must for anyone going for their theory test. It is laid out in a question/answer format, with explanations for each answer, which I think makes it easier to understand than simply reading the Highway Code. After going through this book just once I not only completed my theory test in 10 minutes but got all the answers correct.
Fantastic - I passed my test in 10 minutes with one mistake! January 16, 2001 hugo@bigshot.co.uk (Sussex, England) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is really fantastic. I looked at, and unfortunately bought another one, which was useless. Here, the answers are displayed next to the questions, and they are properly explained, so it is very easy to understand. Read this cover to cover and you will not have any problems with driving theory at all. ...nevertheless, don't buy the others and be cheap, this one is worth spending the extra money on!!!
Good Enough January 11, 2001 Don't make the mistake of believing that this book is a complete guide to passing your theory test, although it is a huge step in the correct direction. All that the book contains is lots of questions with a brief explaination of the answer, this is where I think that the book falls down. The book can be complete though within a day if you really try, I did it in a full day and later went on to pass my theory test. I found that the sections to focus on where the documents section but the braking distance section is a doddle with the formula which my instructor gave me. I hope that you pass and that you feel as great as I did when I achieved my goal. Thanks for reading, A Hopefully soon to pass learner driver.
An excellent tool for the provisional driver December 1, 2000 david@6foxhills.freeserve.co.uk (Dudley, England) The practical driving test is a set test to check the standard of the pupils ability to drive. Without passing the "Theory Test" individuals do not get the opportunity to take the practical test, this book must be part of the studying process if they are to succeed in the obtaining that first time pass, GOOD LUCK to you all.
A "must have" for anyone wishing to pass their Theory Test. November 8, 2000 Clearly laid out, with good illustrations. Also gives a good explanation of the correct answers(s). Make sure you have the current edition, as this book is frequently revised.
