This book/CD quickly helped me to come to grips with the new Primary Literacy Framework and cut down on my planning time. There are quite manageable lesson plans, ICT teaching resources and differentiated activities and worksheets. You can use the lessons straight from the book or pick and choose material to complement your own planning and resources. It also comes in handy when leaving work for supply teachers (or if you are a supply teacher who has had to walk into a classroom pull a lesson out of a hat) as it's clear and easy to run with. Highly recommended!

A colleague bought this book for our year group and it is so useful! Not only all the usual teaching otes and photocopiable pages, but all of these are in electronic form on the CDRom and in addition there are texts and other goodies in a form that makes them very friendly to display and work with in class on your Interactive Whiteboard. You can conceal words or sections, annotate, zoom in and out and print in the original or altered form. It really makes the transition to the new framework much more straightforward and gives you easy-to-use resources to match.
