Treat this as your essential bed time read!!! April 3, 2005 Kate Wilkinson (Lytham St Annes, LANCASHIRE United Kingdom) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Driving a car is not a natural skill- it takes practice, commitment, and confidence..... as I know as well as anybody! Following driving lessons either with my insructor or boyfriend I often find that there is so much to take in that I cannot rememeber everything and with this in mind, this book is fantastic to have by your side to give your brain a mini refresher course whenever you need it. Clearly laid out and with step by step guides it really does help build your knowledge base of skills however dont confuse it with the books taylored for the Theory Test as that is not what this book is designed for - buy a seperate book instead as not all things are covered in this one!!! Good Luck!
A fantastic read December 15, 2004 October Sun 79 (Bedford, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is the only book you should think about buying if you are taking lessons and want to pass your test. After a driving lesson I would often be thinking up questions and this book was handy to have around when I was struggling for an answer or simply could not grasp a technique.A must for anyone looking to pass their test, first time. Read it, absorb it and put into practice.
Very Useful February 16, 2004 Mr. G. R. E. Barton (England) 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
Read this book to become a good driver. If only everyone did. Very good for learner drivers, ADIs and just to improve your driving. The highway code demonstrated!
Ok Book to help you January 7, 2004 5 out of 23 found this review helpful
I have taken and now passed my theory test and i had questions appear in my test which deffinately aren't in this book! Its getting a bit out dated and seen as the DSA add questions to the database usually annually or bi-annually it is slightly out dated since it was publish nearly 3/4 years ago!
The best way to past both theory and practical tests October 30, 2001 paul@psmason.com (Midlands, UK) 45 out of 52 found this review helpful
As my driving instructor said the only way to be certain pass the tests is to be a good driver. This book not only tells you what you need to know but how best to implement it. The ultimate book!!!!!!!
