4 out of 5 stars Great Read   August 24, 2008

When You Don't See Me
I've read a few gay books, and they never really live up to my expectations - never really match what you can read in the mainstream... until now!
Excellently written, warm, fully fleshed out characters and a great story.

4 out of 5 stars Thoughly enjoyable read   June 15, 2008

Having never read a book by the author, I wasn't sure what to expect as at times so-called gay themed literature can be rather one dimentional but this is definitely not the case with the engaging book. The central character, Nick is a thoughtly likeable character, and its enjoyable to discover how he battles through some difficult personal issues while maintaining a solid moral code. At times the book did become a little sickly sweet but there is nothing wrong with feeling a positive glow when finishing a book. I shall make a point of reading some of authors other books despite their rather dubious looking covers.
