Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic and absorbing read   January 16, 2006
5 out of 5 found this review helpful

This book is absolutely fantastic. It follows Amy Lovell growing up and discovering who she really is instead of being the expected 'society girl'
Amy learns how to find her own happiness rather than following in the footsteps her family members take (which aren't as perfect as they may appear to the outside world) and she sees that money certainly doesn't equal happiness.
Rosie Thomas writes in a way that brings the characters alive and makes you cry and laugh through Amy's joys and heartache.
This was the first Rosie Thomas book I read but it certainly won't be the last.
