Forgotten Way April 22, 2008 A. J. Cripps (The Midlands, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Half way through and thoroughly enjoying the book and results. I remember watching a nature program about big cats hunting mountain goats in some far outreach of Northern Asia. In one shot they showed a mountain goat resting on an outledge surveying the valley. In it's state it made me think we humans have lost something about being in touch with nature and what it is to be human. The power to be, not being distracted by the seemingly never ending stream of attempted assaults on our awareness that come at us throughout the day. Adverts, TV, radio, peer pressure, addiction - noticing rather than reacting to! This book shows you the way to a more natural state of being imho. One of being calm and aware and leaves you with a feeling of general clarity!
A wonderfully written, user-friendly guide to this effective therapy December 8, 2007 Michael Chaskalson (Cambridge, UK) 34 out of 34 found this review helpful
Having taught the methods these authors recommend to groups and individuals over the past three years I know that they work. But it's not always easy and one can find oneself caught up all sorts of dead-ends. The authors are well aware of that and take pains to make their points with clarity and a deep sensitivity to the issues involved. The result is a work that is highly effective and very approachable. I can't recommend it too highly.
the best approach October 4, 2007 John Shaw (Oxford) 16 out of 27 found this review helpful
This book is full of wonderful wisdom- I highly recommend it along with FREE YOUR MIND by Sensei Anthony Stultz and BEING ZEN by EZRA BAYDA.
