a great buffy novel set around season 2 December 19, 2006 the chosen one (england) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
this is one of the better buffy novels that i have read. when you first dive into the book we do not see buffy until about the third chapter and i was getting a bit worrired that this book would drag on but it was a wise move by alice henderson as it sets out the pace of the book quite nicely and you dont have to wait what seems like a millenium for buffy and the gang to find out the danger. the rest of the book sees buffy, xander, willow and giles laanding through different time periods to stop assasin vampires from killing past slayers to stop buffy when she killed the master and to allow him to rise. the book deals suttely with angels love for buffy and although we dont see much of himas he does not time travel with them (the case of sunlight being a problem) we do get to see a bit of a past angelus at the end which rounds the book off nicely. i look foreward to seeing more from alice. i would recommend for any buffy fan.
not a bad book November 11, 2006 De-de (Scotland) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have just read this - not a bad read - a bit convoluted until you get the plot. I found myself enjoying it and look forward to further offerings from this author. It challenged my attention span and I enjoyed it once I got into it. De-de
