This book gives good overall practice for key stage 2 maths, and is useful in highlighting the areas of weekness for the child. However, in tasks that are found more difficult, the book needs supplemented with additional exercises to aid explanation. It is useful for additional practice outside school, with parental supervision.
There are also very useful number speed tests on each page to help in simple mental maths.
