Superb `read it to me' goodnight story December 30, 2007 AMAZON REVIEWER 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Paperback format, 26 pages in the popular `two-page spread' prose format, e.g.:- `The sun paints the sky a warm, glowing red. It's time to stop playing, it's time for bed.... With tired, drooping necks giraffe flop to the ground. Sheltered and watched over. Safe and sound..... Stars twinkle brightly, the moon softly gleams. Snuggle up, sleepy ones. Hush now, sweet dreams!' Superbly illustrated in pastels throughout.
Best Bedtime Book! September 27, 2006 SA Gregory (Surrey, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A friend lent us their copy and we liked it so much we had to buy it! Beautiful illustrations set off with a gentle rhyming story about the animals going to bed - my 18month old son likes this to be the last book before bedtime, he points out all the animals as they settle down to sleep has his "big hippo hug" and then as all the animals are asleep is happy to go to bed himself. Thorough;y recommended - you won't be disappointed.
Lovely bedtime book February 11, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Adorable story with great rhythm, telling a tale of wild baby animals going to bed. Wonderful illustrations.
