This book is well worth buying if you want to get the most from your game. It gives you a great insight into all the characters of the game, strengths and weaknesses, and where to put bonus skills points to make them stronger/faster/tougher. It has detailed maps of each section, tells you where all the goodies are hidden, and even gives you the answers to the trivia quizzes if you need them. There are lots and lots of useful bits of info for anyone playing this game, even down to a list of various team combinations to try, and the benefits such teams can give you. Personally, I've found that by using Cyclops, Storm, Iceman and Wolverine (which isn't one of the listed options in the book), I get great gameplay, and by experimenting with Bonus Skills Points gave most enemies a good kicking. I was very surprised at how easy it was to defeat Apocalypse because of this. Sadly, the book for the first Legends game is out of stock, out of print, and out of my price range second hand, but this one is definitely a good investment. Great artwork in it too.
