A Fantastic GCSE Resource October 17, 2007 GoldenMile (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This revision guide is great for revising GCSE ICT. All the topics in the course are covered in the book, and the book is easy to read. It is also a great reference whilst you are doing last minute revision. This book is fantastic for most of the basics, but on some subjects it doesn't go into enough depth for you to get a high mark in the exam. On other subjects it goes into far too much irrelevant detail. Apart from that, it is a fantastic compliment to the course and is a book that I would definitely recommend for anyone doing ICT no matter what exam board.
A brilliant revision guide January 21, 2005 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This revision guide is full of EVERYHING you will need to know about GCSE ICT. The makers have added pretty awful jokes in to try and make revising 'fun'...and to be honest they succeed (mainly becuase one laughs at how bad the joes are). There is plenty of information in the book and revising from them is easier, and more enjoyable than from an ordinary text book. There are also hints on how to revise.
GCSE ICT The WorkBook June 18, 2003 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book lets you work on the written side of your ICT exam and gives you the boost that you need to understanding computers and there systems. It explains the concepts and laws of all the knowledge needed to help you pass your GCSE ICT exam.
Well worth the money September 15, 2002 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Whether you are doing your GCSEs or not, this book is a brilliant buy, as it is set out clearly with easy to understand explanations. I had been predicted a C in my GCSE ICT, but after revising using this book, I gained an A grade!
Very helpful October 1, 2001 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This book was very helpful and gave simple and easy to understand explanations and examples. Even those who are not doing GCSE can use this book and it helps you learn about different parts of the computer as well. It is clearly set out and even though I am only part way through my GCSE course I am finding very useful. Well worth the money.
