Being in internet dater myself, (with success I might add) I couldn't resist a personal account of fellow internet dater...Upon reading I can certainly relate to her first hand experiences of looking at new profiles and finding...well I don;t wanna spoil it for you, all I can say is BUY IT!!! Its one of the funniest reads I've come across in along time...

5 out of 5 stars Loved it!   August 22, 2007

I absolutely loved this book, it's so true to the trials and tribulations of meeting a person from the internet. It was a really funny book, hope there is a sequel! Jo is hysterical and her persistent admirable!

5 out of 5 stars The highs and lows of Internet Dating.   March 28, 2007
Barry Leeder (London, England)
You have to admire Joe's perseverance with a line-up of motley characters, hoping that each one will be better (and taller) than the last.
Laugh out loud funny and touching in all respects; this book was a great holiday read for me. Bring on the sequel!!!

5 out of 5 stars Someone give this woman a medal...   January 13, 2007
M. James (Hampshire, England)
I can not recommend this book enough. Not only is it incredibly funny (I was continually annoying people on public transport by laughing out loud), it is so perceptive and accurate. Reading this book was like reading a summary of the last four years of my life. Like Jo, I am in my early 30s, successful, single and a seasoned internet dater. Every situation and every person mentioned rang true. It doesn't matter if you're single or in a relationship - you will find this book a joy. It captures the ups, downs, highs, lows and harsh reality of being single in the 21st century, beautifully. I shall be sending copies to all my single friends. Buy it and enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Laugh out loud!   November 2, 2006

A friend recommended this book and I'm so glad they did. Well written, funny and sincere, it makes a refreshing change from all those books about women looking for cheap thrills on the internet. Read one, you've read them all. This goes much deeper than that. The author's dry style of writing brings humour to even the saddest parts and you genuinely want her to find the man of her dreams. You also want to go to the pub with her. I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a book. The down side is that it's such a page turner I read it too quickly. Move over Bridgit Jones - this is reality. Well done Jo - I hope there's more where this came from.
