Cool Collectable July 16, 2008 M. Evans This will probably only appeal to hardcore Indiana Jones fans, but such fans should be delighted with this 'authentic' looking journal, of which a lot of work seems to have gone into. Done in the style of a genuine journal with realistic looking leather binding containing sketches, newspaper articles and sepia-tinted photgraphs (although these shots from the films are a little silly - at no point in the films did any of the characters start snapping away with a camera!)It's the sort of book that takes very little time to read and is more of a collectable item that will look very cool lying on a coffee table for people to flick through.
An excellent partner to the films June 18, 2008 S. Gohil (London) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Just received this book and for the price Amazon are selling it for, it's a massive bargain. Any Indy fan should buy this. It fills in the missing information looking at different aspects to Jones' life from teaching, the various experiences he had as a child to the thoughts in his head conveyed onto paper. It has humour and really makes you think that that Indiana Jones was a real person. It makes you want to own your own journal, of course mine would not even be a percent as interesting as this.
Indiana Jones. I have your Journal! May 6, 2008 M. Lead (Nottingham) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
This is a great book for all Indiana Jones fans. Packed with notes, drawings, sketches, photos and information as if Indy had written it himself. You do start to think that you have a genuine piece of Indiana Jones real memorabilia in your hands. Even the pages are made to look worn. Follow Indy through his life as a young boy to presnt day. Also if you have them play the music to the films in the background at the same time you read the book. Great stuff.
