the road to wealth - of different kinds June 28, 2008 Janie (Brighton, England) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
The point about this book - which some reviewers have misunderstood - is that the term 'rich' doesn't just mean becoming wealthy, but also learning to value what you already have. The materialism of the book is balanced by an excellent emphasis on the non-material 'riches' we possess. And in any case, it's a matter of personal choice. If it's material wealth you're interested in, this book shows you how to attain it. If you're interested in understanding time and slowing it down, read Making Time - or if you're interested in achieving your desires in other ways, read The Secret.
Brilliant! June 25, 2008 Ms. A. Wall (England) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have read and listened to most of Paul Mckenna's work but this was the most profound because it enabled me to "get in deep" and work on my issues all round not just those concerning money. For working through the exercises both written and visual I have given myself peace of mind, I don't worry like I used to and I've let go of a lot of personal issues which has resulted in self sabotage in many areas of my life. I don't know why but this has been a personal healing for me. It has given me alot to think about what programmes I have running my mind, yes it may challengne your beliefs and get to you to really think what you associate( feelings, behaviours) around what is Rich and wealth. we are always being told to change your mind-set and change your life but I found I could do this without the huge guilt trip! Simple to read, light on the mind.
Excellent work again from Paul McKenna! June 25, 2008 HelpSTAR 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The CD will support you in getting the messages unconsciously as I discovered at my training with Auspicium, may - I suggest you listen to the CD daily. Also, remember, you may think listening to the CD and reading the book will just suddenly and miraculously manifest your fortune and feelings of richness, you may be right. Then again, that's a bit like creating new beliefs about being a "great cook"....you may become a great cook with new empowering beliefs but we also know that you may need to get in the kitchen to rustle up your tasty lunch! Something to think about...and by the way....only you can make you rich, whatever rich means to you.
Powerful and easy to read. June 25, 2008 K. Alexander (Cambridge, UK) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
It's really refreshing to read a book on this subject that is directed at an English rather than an American readership. The book contains much less hype and nonsense for a start and it also connects better with our own culture than the usual American offering, this is important because the book is directed mainly at de-programming our negative cultural conditioning around money and installing a new and more positive set of beliefs and behaviours. The techniques that McKenna uses to install these new behaviours are neither new nor original and are drawn from standard NLP and TFT methods but they are simple for the average person to implement and do give excellent results. All in all, this book is easily read, easily understood (not always true of NLP books), full of life changing thoughts and techniques and after buying it you won't need need to spend hundreds of pounds buying books by the many other guru's in this field.
Cool June 25, 2008 dogsolitude_uk (Norwich, Norfolk United Kingdom) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I don't know if it will make me rich or not, but it's a damned good read which gave me a real insight into the 'Wealthy' mentality. Also, that CD put me out like a light. Ambient music and Paul's voice talking about things... Straight out.
