I have just purchased the dictionary, and instantly you're sure that the book has been extremely well-made. The cover is modern and stylish, but it doesn't stop there. Collins has taken time to make this dictionary different to other ones, as I think most people feel that small dictionaries are useless and annoying - this certainly isn't! Inside, the book maintains standards; it's excellently presented, easily understood and words are accessible easily. This is mainly due to the use of colours; the word is in blue, and the definitions are in black. Every had to read on into the description to find each meaning? Well not anymore! Each definition starts on a new line, which means quicker and easier research - a MUST for GCSE school work. Example sentences of each word are also given, in a massive amount of clarity. In the centre there's pages which gives help on grammar, conversations, and basic (forgettable) skills.This is a truly amazing language resource, and should not be associated in any way with another "pocket-sized" dictionary. An excellent buy, for a VERY reasonable price.
