Still a great study aid August 22, 2005 J. McKay (Falkirk, Scotland) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This dictionary is a solid learning aid for those studying French at school, particularly teenagers, and is simply the old Collins Pocket Dictionary in a new cover. This is no bad thing, however; I have found it immensely useful as well as quite entertaining, with its interesting word games in the middle section. It also provides the user with essential grammar information and, as ever, those handy verb tables are included at the back of the dictionary. The colourful format is clear and absorbing, rather than the customary boring black font used in the majority of previous dictionaries, and this makes it easy to search for desired words. Perfect for Standard Grade/GCSE level French.
