Great to see this had come out on xbox with the current trend for retro games.Firstly, nothing has changed; it's the same games, the same graphics and the same sounds as when I was a kid cutting my teeth on my first computer games. But a lot has changed since then so if you buy this to recreate those memories you are probably going to be disappointed.
The menus for game selection were a pain, games being categorised by genre and no images or description to help you identify the game you so loved but can't remember the name of.
That said, there were a few I found and still enjoy playing including asteroids.
But the real fun came with two player, early 80's music on the stereo and slogging it out on a round robin with battletanks, bi-planes, submarines and a degree of competitiveness that we didn't remember but must have possessed at the time. A good 3 hours and a good few drinks passed us by before we turned to the more sophisticated offerings of ghost recon etc.
This is simplicity at it's best for simple untaxing games you can play with the kids, let them play without getting stuck and occasionally ribald fun with your mates. Good value at six quid!
