Amazon.co.uk Review: In a nutshell: Possibly the least obscure game title ever, this does exactly what it says on the tin with forty-two classics from chess and backgammon, to darts, poker, bridge and solitaire. The lowdown: The surprising thing about this game is that nobody's thought to do it before. The games are split into three varieties of card game and two of board games, plus a selection of "action" games including bowling, darts and billiards. Playing the card games is just as easy as you'd expect with two screens and a stylus, whether it's Old Maid and Pig or Texas Hold `Em and Bridge. The board games work just as well, with Chinese Checkers, Checkers (i.e. Draughts), Dots and Boxes and more. You'll also find games like Turncoat (i.e. Othello), "Connect Five", Ludo, Mahjong and Solitaire. You have got to go to some effort not to find something of interest amongst this selection. Most exciting moment: The best thing about having so many games is that, except for the ones that are purposefully single player, they can all be played online. If you're playing against a friend you can even chat using a PictoChat style interface. Since you ask: The Japanese and Western versions of the game have several different exclusive games. Japan never got Texas Hold 'Em, Dots and Boxes, Grid Attack, Ludo, Dominoes, Escape or Mahjong Solitaire but instead have Napoleon, Goninkan, Bozumekuri, Sugoroku, Size Game, Last One and Mini Golf in their version. The bottom line: The one video games compendium that really is for everyone. - HARRISON DENT

Totally Addictive! April 23, 2008 Dippy (Reading, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am a new ds owner. My son bought me one for my birthday and, being a pensioner, I was sceptical but went along with it. I tried a couple of training games but then I ordered this one! WOW! I can't stop playing it. Have had it a couple of months now and play almost every day. When I'm not playing it I look forward to a moment to get stuck into it again. I love all the games and particularly enjoy playing 'human' opponents via the wireless connection. Would not be without it and I get quite upset when my grandchildren want to have a go!!!!
Growl! March 31, 2008 Undercover-Angel (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this game for christmas and i absolutely love it.. All the games are easy to get to grips with.. I've never lost a game of billiards yet (Y) Stamp Mode adds to the purpose of playing the game.. Played it with my two younger cousins today, two DS's and three of us.. BIG arguments! i only have one complaint.. When my mum gets a hold of it she always plays it so long the battery's flat by the time i get a go!
GREAT GAME!!! March 23, 2008 Mrs. BJ Johnson 1 out of 2 found this review helpful

Really easy to use February 24, 2008 Jenny 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
This game is great for the DS because it is so easy to pick up and play for a few minutes without getting frustrated or bored, even if you play for longer periods. The games are all fairly simple but there really is 42 of them, and they really are all proper games (admittedly a few felt a little samey, but msot of the time on these games you find only a few decent ones.) The controls are so easy to use and totally designed for the DS, and unlike a lot of games where I feel that it could have been made much simpler and less difficult to use. This is a great game at a great price and I would recommend you buy it!
A great time killer February 21, 2008 Mrs. Karen A. Driscoll (Basingstoke, UK) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a really great game - you think I'll have a quick game and before you know it hours have passed. Some are complicated to understand but they are great to play. Thoroughly recommend but be prepared to spend hours playing it.
