Well i thought whata game when i bought this. ESPN stylee hockey game? Gotta be good. I was right, it was good, not brilliant and not poor, an average hockey game. ESPN music and commentary, build up and everything was impressive, game play was tricky at first but good, graphics were.... ok. An all round average game. I would say to any hockey game wannabe buyers out there, get either NHL 2002 (or 2003 when it come out) the EA Sports game, or for fun NHL Hitz 2002! These two games have all round better graphics game play and everything else!

In the past i have bought three hockey games and none have come close to the sound and graphics that espn have brought to this game.Throughout the gameplay it gives you rundowns on the players and match statistics,the game is very fluid and unlike other games you know where you are at all times on the ice.Commentary is usefull and is not just there to enhance the game,Pre game options are clear and simple to select and the pre match films are up to the highest standard i have seen in a long time.The only item i would like to see added to the game is one on one fighting during the match.The best game i have bought in the last eight months...
