i think this game was really hard to get into but once you got into it it was really good. i played this game at my freinds house and it looked good so i though i would buy it also i thought it would be good because i have the sims 2 pets on psp and it is ok but on the pc i have the sims 2 and the sims 2 pets and it is really good and once you get going you dont want to stop. i also have like lots of other sims on the pc and found theme better than the sims 2 as the mouse is easier to use and stuff. i am glad i brought this item as it keeps me busy for hours and i dont get borde any more. i think every one should have at least one sims game in their house. i find it really anoying because every thing you do on this game takes like 3 hours to do and you cant please theme all the time as their is always somthing wrong with theme. overall i think this game is the best out of all games out on the market as this one is for both genders and really cool. people you must buy this game !!!!!!!!!!!!!
A 100% dissapointment May 8, 2007 Dale Winstone (Neath, south wales) 7 out of 14 found this review helpful
This game was probably the biggest dissapointment ever. I got the game for christmas and having played the PC version at my friend's house I was very happy. I played the game for about an hour then I felt like doing something more interesting like ripping out my eyes. The game has many faults, like the Sims (PS2) when you change a big curtain surrounds your sim then after an hour of sim time you've changed. When you eat it's not as easy as the PC version where you pick what you want, you have to pick the individual ingredients then you have to decide what to do with the ingredients, when you've finally made the food you have the option to look at it, drop it or eat it, that's about one step away from having the options chew and swallow. Another fault, did you ever have someone who you didn't like, but they kept coming round your house (in real life)? Every day on the Sims 2 is like that. Simple things like having a shower now take about 2 hours, how stinking can they get? This game had great potential but turned out to be a huge dissapointment, that's why I reviewed it after selling my version.
Very good April 10, 2007 Mrs. Suzanne Young 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have never played the PC version that everyone says is great but when I played the Sims 2 on Playstation at a friends I liked it and decided to buy it. GOOD POINTS Creating a sim is great I think it is very addictive Interacting with other sims is easy I went on Freeplay for a break from my original sim and it is so fun creating a family. I created a family and chose a house for them and I realised that this house had no furniture in so you get the chance to choose what the house looks like. I even built and extra room like an extension and it was great. NOT SO GOOD POINTS There is not really any bad points but there is some not-so-good points as the title suggests. The Wants are sort-of pointless. Some of the Fears you can't really avoid. When you, say, go on holiday, your sim always dies. The game is so addictive, once you start your game, you can't stop. If you buy this game and like it, from what I've read from other peoples reviews, buy the PC version, but if you have a Nintendo DS lite, or a Nintendo DS, dodn't buy Sims 2 or Sims 2 Pets for DS... their RUBBISH!
