Wario Land 4 December 15, 2007 argyle1 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This Game is fantastic it's got over 5 transformations, 16 levels, 5 bosses and lots of secret cds!!!! And the 16 great levels won't go quick!!!!!..... If you have the chance BUY IT! It's not short at all! And it's a brilliant wario game!!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!!!!!
too short July 8, 2007 Bertie (UK) this game is immense fun. just look at some of the other reviews. it's a nice twist on the same old basic "mario" style gameplay - well designed levels, good enemies, etc. the problem is it's so short. excluding the training mission there are 4 areas with 4 levels in each; 16 levels and then a boss stage for each. then 1 final level and final boss. 17 levels and 5 bosses. sounds ok but any gamer with experience will blast through the levels and may only find the bosses a challenge. It actually only took me a single day to finish this game. A hugely entertaining day but only one day. it's up to you, if you're an experienced gamer you may find it doesn't have enough to hold your attention however if you're more of a casual gamer and only play occasionally this may suit you.
Wario Land Comes Onto The GBA August 17, 2006 Ms. B. M. Young (London, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game is fantastic. It's exciting as well, it's the first time Wario has stepped onto the GBA market. And it's excellent! If you've been playing Wario Land 3 on the Gameboy Color and then switching to this, you will adore it! Not the same storyline as the third installment with the treasure chests, but the same kind of idea. There's areas with 4 levels in each. And at the end, a boss. The graphics are amazing, you can save the game whenever you want, and there's even a training level! If you liked the previous Wario games, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENT YOU TO BUY THIS GAME. It's great!
Over a year playing it February 9, 2003 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I got this game with a GBA for Christmas 2001. I had already played the original WarioLand on the old B&W Gameboy and thought - hey I'll give it a go.I found the game very hard to start with but then realised that's where the fun lies. Unlike Mario games, you don't die and have to start right back at the begining of the game, you keep going at the levels until you get all 4 diamonds or try a different level and come back later. It's versitile and fun to play. I'm the soft of person who will only be able to play a game for a few minutes before getting bored or cramp so this game was perfect, you can pick it up do a level then turn it off until another day, with your place saved. It's Mario for Adults and I completed it finally (all diamonds, bosses, etc..) today and I'm waiting for Wario 5.

This game boasts great gameplay, great level design which can take you in many different ways. But most of all it gets you thinking with so many different things you have to do to complete a level. You like mario then you like wario too. One of my fav games on GBA. (recommended)
