This game's really good! January 20, 2006 Penny Jagger (Taunton, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This game is really fun to play on - at first you will probabally get stuck on the first level, but once you really get into the game, it will become easier. You play as Harry and you have to complete various tasks such as finding books in the library, spell challanges and flying lessons. A cool game, but some bits are quite hard. Age: 8 - 11
Magic ! July 31, 2005 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This game is one of the best games I've played and a must for Harry Potter fans. The gameplay is very good and simply exploring the Castle and grounds is enough to keep you entertained for hours. Getting round the castle is made fast and easy unlike the tediosness of the previous Harry Potter game. The game is challenging to the right degree, not impossible but will entertain you for a long time. The magic bean challenges are particularly enjoyable.

This game is brilliant. It has a lot of challenges in it, Gringotts bank is the first challenge.I found Gringotts to be the most difficult but don't be put off. Diagon Alley was quite easy. When you get into Hogworts there's loads of stuff to do. SO YOU BETTER GET IT!!!!!!!!!!
Short lived, sell outs, poor January 8, 2004 3 out of 9 found this review helpful
I suppose it sould have come to me as little suprise that this spin off would be awful. The game play is short (I started and completed the entire game on a coach journey from London to Swansea). You spend most of that time attempting to direct your little Harry Potter from one end of 'hogworts' to another to perform another menial task of little interest or concequence. The main dissapointment of the game to me though is that you don't get to fly the funky car at the start. Poor.
Not for the over-12s December 31, 2003 Elise (Southend on Sea, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is exactly what all of the other reviewers said - too short, too easy and lacks depth. However, and I admit that since I am an adult who also likes the books I made the same mistake, this is not aimed at gamers - except for those who are pre-teen. As a game aimed at the children's market, it is far from perfect, but is a very playable game.If you have a 9 or 10 year old who likes the books and/or films this would make a good Birthday/Christmas present - just don't buy it for yourself if you are in your teens or older - even worse, DON'T BUY THIS AS A PRESENT FOR A TEENAGER. It does have some problems with the controls etc, but not enough not to recommend it. Lastly, unless this has stopped being made - at the time of writing it is only available through the Amazon Marketplace on this site, you can get it for 15 or less at your local computer game shop. So unless the Marketplace z-shops have reduced their prices since I wrote this - from the 22.95 that they were starting at at the time of this review - try your local store first if you don't want to pay over the odds.
