SSX 3 for GBA December 31, 2005 I had bought SSX tricky for GBA, and found it disappointing, but i didn't have a PS2 so I couldn't buy the really good games for it. This game is pbetter than SX tricky for GBA, you get to chose any character, and unlock different boards and outifts, hich is very cool. You get 2 mountains to unlock, and the small videos of your character going up the mountain in the cable car is cute. Its a great game that will have you playing for weeks.
SSX3 - best racing game ever! November 13, 2004 Hamish (Glasgow, Schottland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
When I bought SSX3 I'd seen the mixed range of reviews for it. Having not been on any SSX3 games before I decided to try it out. There are 12 tracks available in total:- Race: where you race against other riders to the end of the track (4 of these in total) (knocking other riders off their boards is the best!), Big Air: Where you perform tricks to gain points to compete with other riders, Slopestyle: rather like the slalem events in skiing where jump to get different X's multiplying by different numbers, Backcountry: race against 1 other rider on a seriously hard track and then Slopestyle which is by far the worst letting the game down slightly. After the 1/4 final, then semi-final if you qualify (to be in top 3 out of 5 or 6 riders) you get to compete for a medal! However on each of the 12 tracks you get a option whether to go competitive or Big Challenges where you're on the same tracks but set challanges eg. no airtime, peform Uber Tricks (these are when you do a special kind of trick and for each trick it fills a letter of "UBER". When you've fill all of them you go onto Super Uber where to tricks are at there best and most spectacular but hard to perform), no wipeouts etc. This is a excellent game and by far my most favourite game yet and this will definitely NOT be a letdown! BUY IT!!!!!!!!

Just bought the game, being a huge fan of the PS2 games, harder to control but still a class game. Haven't had a chance to compare it to SSX Tricky on GBA but anyone who has compared them, please let us know. Different characters and moves but same game. Still number one snowboarding game.
