Amazon.co.uk Review Remember reaching that point in a game, unable to get any further without that little bit of outside help? That's where Xploder Cheat System for Dreamcast comes to the rescue, offering a number of cheats for all your favourite Dreamcast games released in the first year. It's fairly simple to load; first load the cheat disc, (which is not endorsed by Sega), then install the cheats that you want to use in the game and finally install the game and hey presto your cheat will work. Never again will you have to remember the button order for unlimited time in Crazy Taxi. --Frances Barber

xpoder cheat disc April 17, 2002 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
argh ghastly waste of time save your money.I was dissapointed with this disk all the cheats are at least 2 years old plus.some of them are pointless like on blue stinger the cheats to have all weapons but no ammo. The millenium soldier game does not load up once you have entered the cheats.Overall expensive for what you get comes with rubbishy instructions as well.Should really be given away on a dreamcast magazine.
OK But irritating August 16, 2001 Mr. David Clark (Bexleyheath, UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
It does work, but be careful - it can also destroy all files on your VM. Also, although you can enter your own codes the saving of them is erratic, and it doesn't recognise the keyboard so you're going to be spending a while retyping codes in.

I think the x-plorer for the dreamcast has little cheats but, the cheats that it has got are very good.
DC Xploder July 22, 2001 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
DC Xploder is the best cheat device for the Dreamcast. It has a unique code system that allows it access data that other cheat devices can't. The disc comes pre-loaded with cheats and can be updated by going to the Xploder web-site... I also have an Action Replay cheat disc, but the codes available for it are slim at best, eg: There are no cheat codes for Sonic Adventure 2 on Action Replay, but there are already 5 cheats for it on the Xploder website... All-in-all, an excellent Cheat device!
Xploder is poor and has few cheats July 18, 2001 DC xploder is the worst cheat system you can buy, of course there are only three you can buy for the dreamcast: Gameshark, Action Replay and Xploder. Xploder is the worst for the following reasons: 1. All the cheats programmed into it are for very old games e.g. sonic adventure, wetrix. If you want cheats for PSO or shenmue, you won't find them here, having said this, you can find many codes on the net. 2. It is a disc, so you can't turn on cheats mid-game, this is especially important in games such as PSO. And PSO is probably the game you want this cheat system for. 3. You can't make your own codes on it. This is only a minor point as most people don't kinow how to, it is a difficulot thing to do.GS and AR can do all these things. However you will find it difficult to find a GS or AR if you live in England. The only DC cheat system they sell on this site is Xploder. Also if you od buy this, some of the cheats already programmed in don't work and some cheats you will find on the net, may work for a while, but thwy can corrupt your file. I bought this cheat system though and it is OK, however far from the best.
