Amazon.co.uk Review The fact that it doesn't have a headphone socket is about the only criticism that can be levelled at the GBA SP, but get this great value pack from Joytech and you'll have no further cause for complaint. The headphone adapter, which forms the centrepiece of this package, solves the problem with the minimum of fuss by plugging into the EXT 2 socket--the one you normally plug a game link cable or other peripherals into. A pair of stereo earphones is also included. Speaking of game link cables, also included is just such a device, which although unofficial will work perfectly when connected up to any other brand of cable for up to four-player fun on supported games. Also included is a carry pouch for the console, which you can attach to your belt should you wish to look incredibly stupid, possibly for charity. Finally, of far more practical use is the in-car adapter, one end of which plugs into a car's lighter socket and the other end of which goes into your SP for infinite power on the move. Considering the price and the amount of stuff that comes with it this is a must-have for any SP owner on the move. --David Jenkins

You might as well buy the headphones and another pack! August 6, 2004 PJ (UK) 28 out of 29 found this review helpful
I got this hoping it would be all I need to take my SP anywhere. However, the SP only just fits in the case (and I mean ONLY JUST) and the link cable only works between two GBAs - there's no adaptor for connecting with the old game boy. The headphones are excellent and make the sound better. I would recommend you buy a pair of headphones separately (I think they're about 2- 3) and then get the official carrying case which holds games, the SP and headphones.

This pack has got all you need for long car journies, Boat Trips and Flights e.t.c. Firstly the headphone adapter brilliant if you want to listen to the music on your GBA on the bus and don't want to annoy the other people. You just plug the cable into the EXT 2 SOCKET and it's done plus you get free earphones. There is also a link cable which works just like the official one and it's much cheaper. If your'e running low on battery power in the car you can use the in-car adapter just stick it in lighter socket and you get all the power you need. In conclusion this is a much more cheaper alternitave to buying all the official nintendo stuff and it all works perfectly, get this and make those long journies seem like minutes
