It Didn't Really Have Much Use When The Console Was Out April 22, 2007 Mrs. Dawnc Alexandre (Jersey (CI)) I first got one of these when I received the Pokemon Stadium 1 game. The Transfer Pak is a device that connects to the back of the Nintendo 64 Controller and allows you to transfer data between a Game Boy Game and the Nintendo 64! The Pokemon games were the most common at using this function for the use of transferring Pokemon from Pack to Cartridge and vice versa! The only other game I know which uses this Transfer Pack is Mario Golf for Game Boy Color and the Nintendo 64! The rest I'm not so sure! My Grade For The Gadget: 6.5/10: Playable, Alright, Up's & Downs My Wish: One very annoying thing is when you do use this device; it tends to regularly shut down your game and forces you to clean the Transfer Pack! If only they could prevent this from happening! Final Comments: In my opinion, if you have Pokemon games for both the Game Boy and the Nintendo 64, then I recommend you keep one of these on you're shelves just to be sure. If you don't then I consider you ignore obtaining this Pack! Review By Captain Chris Kipper!
Nintendo - the King of Innovators! April 23, 2001 Mr. Adam Riley (Manchester, England) 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
What an amazing contraption! Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2 linking up with Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Then there's Mario Golf and Tennis linking with their GBC versions. It really is wonderful, as not only can you play the GBC games through your N64 on your large TVs in lovely colour, but secrets are traded between the 64-bit and 8-bit games! This is most definitely a worthy purchase...
Links Gameboy Pokemon games to N64 Stadium January 9, 2001 Mike Bird (mbird@dircon.co.uk) (London, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
A nice bit of equipment that provides a link between the Gameboy Pokemon cartridges and the N64 Pokemon Stadium game. With this you can plug your Gameboy cart into a N64 controller and then upload the developed Pokemon into the N64 game. This opens up additional features of the N64 game, plus it allows you to better organise your Gameboy developed pokemon using the 'Pokemon Lab' option.
