I got this game thinking it was gonna be c*** but it's great good gameplay good story 9/10 buy it!

Having been a fan of the show since it first aired, buying this game was the next step in the Buffy experience! To be fair, the game has a great story, well written and is very true to the orginal television series. It's actually like a missing episode from the series. But compared to the second Buffy game, "Chaos Bleeds" it comes in second place. The reason for that is most of character voices in the second game are the actual stars of Buffy, and some of the voices in the first game sound a tad bad. In the first game, the highlights include roaming around the school library, taking on demons and dusting vampires. It's a very pleasing game as you can get through it with ease - once you get into the slay of things. Basically, if you're a fan of the show then you probably already have this, if you don't then the only thing I say to entice you to purchase this game is -
do it! Try this, you won't regret it!

Even though this game is quite old I have heard such good things about it I had to get it. Despite being one of the oldest games on the xbox it still has a claim as one of the best, and deffinatley one of the most fun!!
This is a unique game gerne as well. A mix of tomb raider, resident evil and final fight! There is some jump related sections and exploring to do, some easy puzzle and locate a key parts with plenty of the undead to kill in a variety of fun ways. There are a few weapons to use or a killer combo of kicks and punches. The weapons range from a crossbow, super soaker, shovels and your trusty stake. You can also use the enviroment to kill vamps as well, break a borded window and give that vamp a tan just for one!
This really does fit in with the series, set around series 3, and has all the actors apart from Buffy lend their voices. Buffys stand in is so good you barely notice it's not her! It has the trademark humour of the show in plentiful supply. The graphics are very good, even by todays standards. The animation is especially good as Buffy struts her stuff. The lighting is good, if some levels are a bit too dark leading you to fall off a cliff you didn't know was there! You can adjust the brightness from the pause menu though. The sound is very good, with atmospheric music,noises with the tune to the show as well. Also the voices are lip synchronized in the cut scenes. This is a huge game as well with plenty of levels, each with sub sections to them and will take around 9 hours to complete on medium difficulty.
The only real flaw is the save system which can be really annoying, it autosaves at the end of each sub level. Which means if you die just before the end of that section, you go back to the start and it can take around 10-15 minutes to get back to where you were!! If this happens several times at a tough part it is very annoying! Apart from that some of the end level bosses are easy and the jump sections can be frustrating to judge, if you fall and die it's back to the start of that section!! The only good thing about the save is once you complete it you can use it to go back to your fave levels as it saves each section. Overall a great fun game for fans of Buffy or great action, fighting games. If only there were more games like this......but with a better save feature!

Firstly I just have to say that this is an amazing game! I loved it from start to finish! There are some difficult parts, but I'm not very good at games and I still managed to complete it. You can play on easy, medium or hard so no matter how good you aare the game is for you! The story line is jut as if you are watching an episode of our beloved Buffy, and even if you don't watch the programme (like many o my friends) you will still love it. As you progress through the game you get new slayer moves and weapons ( my fave is the final one!) However, there is one problem, the level of difficulty doesn't seem to steadily increase, some of the hardest demons are in the 4th or 5th level and the easy zombies are in the 3rd from last level. Also I found it really easy to beat the final boss. However, the levels are so long and involved that I have not once thought that I didn't get my moneys worth so buy it today!

If you do not own this game, BUY IT NOW!....this game shows the full extent of the xbox's capability and proves to anyone whose still living in the 'playstation 2' past that xbox is the future. Everything about this title is amazing and you'll never put it down for months.
