Product Description
The Datel TOOL battery for the Sony PSP Slim functions as a Pandora's Battery (Also known as a Jigkick or Tool Battery). This battery will make your PSP Slim boot up from the Memory Stick and will not power your PSP console like a normal PSP battery. A correctly formatted Memory Stick is required for flashing the firmware of your PSP. This battery will only fit in the PSP Slim, not the PSP Classic (PSP-1000) and can be charged like a normal battery in the PSP.

This battery saves you a little time and money in making your own pandora's battery. You will also need a 4GB or less pro duo magic memory stick. Download your software for the memory stick install and away you go. The whole process takes about 10 mins but once its done you will have the best handheld on the market! I was going to go for the GP2X F200 console until i did this.
If you are a little unsure search the web for tutorials and youtube for a video guide.
Cheap and easy ;-)

This battery is cheap and works really well. Why get a sony battery and convert to pandora's battery when they probably cost even more. You just need to load the files in the memory stick , insert the battery and off you go, one cfw psp.

Like the other reviews, this is an amazing piece of kit for unbricking or converting to CFW.
You require this and the magic memorycard. I charged it for about an hour, put in the memorystick and it went off without a hitch.
The item is the offical datel one too.
Highly recommended for easy use. Lifesaver for unbricking too.

Very useful piece of equipment, is one of two parts needed to unlock the full potential of your PSP. The second part is a special memory card, quite easy to make just use google. No problems with the item worked perfectly first time.

A very very good way of getting your PSP slim into service mode, without having to risk damaging your own battery. As the descripton states, a suitable memory stick is required, as is a reasonable knowledge of firmware, google is your friend for helpful advice.
A nice quality build, clear insructions that you SHOULD read before use, quick delevery from this seller too, very quick. Not a lot to say, an invaluable tool at a good price.
