amazon re write description I have forwarded this page to trading standards as you clearly know what your advertising yet and have been told its the wrong info and is mis leading and against the sale of goods act yet you insist on leaving at with the lies to try and con customers, IF i had of bought it you would be paying out to me the sum of 3 million dollars in lawsuit damages

This is merely an external USB hardrive that can be purchased for a fraction of the price and with capacities that can reach 1 Terabyte elsewhere on Amazon.This will not allow you to save game data or anything purchased or downloaded freely from Xbox market place. Get a WD MyBook or something if you want to store video and music files that you have ripped or downloaded on your PC for usage on your 360.

This is just an external usb hard drive and plugs into PC`s and XBOX 360s etc. It will not store data from the 360 as it uses the read only usb connections. You can buy a tiny usb 2.0 external hard drive these days for around a quarter of the price of this, use that to store all your music & vids dumped onto from your PC.
Do not buy this unless you like to watch people set fire to great wads of your own cash !

I can confirm that this is connected via the xbox 360 memory slot. Their is howveer a usb version. Though I dnot not yet own this, it seems a great thing to buy. The loss of 1 star is due to price.

This product is mis-advertised. despite the product features advertised the product will not allow saving of files from Live Market place or game saves, rendering it worthless (unless you really wanted an extra Xbox 360 drive solely for music and video files). It does not plug in to the memory card slots, rather USB (not a complaint, but a correction on what is presented on this site). Additionally it is available at half (yes half!) the price on www.codejunkies.com ... if you really want it, that is...
