This game is more challenging than any of the NBA Live games. You have to get separation from the defenders before you attempt a shot. If you don't, it will be rejected in the stands. I give it only 3 stars because you can only play one season just like in NBA Live 2001. Also you can't edit the players positions.
A few people have complained because there is no turbo button. I also thought that was strange at first. Then I realised if you use the analog stick instead of the control pad, the players move almost twice as fast and smoother. I found myself running out of bounds until I got used to the drastic change in speed.
If anyone out there remembers the Arcade game Double Dribble. Thats what this game reminds me of. From the 2001 basketball games available in Europe for the PS 2. I would rank this one number 1. Even the casual basketball gamer should enjoy this game.
Just remember to use the analog stick.

a fair game with the latest player statistics & up to date kit & team changes.Plays fairly smoothly with a few jerky player movements.Although basketball is a fast growing sport you would have to be a real fan of the game to enjoy this one.
