Okay in small doses June 24, 2008 Mr. M. L. Hanford (Hereford,England) I had never really seen or heard anything about this game apart from seeing it in Woolies a few years ago when it came out for 7.99!!,that should have warned me there and then, I bought it recently for a few quid but I can't say I'm proud of my decision,This is just a blatant "Hunter:The Reckoning"clone with fiddly controls, one stick moves the other is the direction of your attack, but it's not sensitive enough and you tend to jam the one forward and play it like Space Invaders, strafing left and right and running backwards whilst firing the truly pathetic range of weapons which run out of ammo almost immediately since it seems even the lowliest foe requires an armoury to fell. I've only done a few of the vampire levels(the werewolves seemed awful)but due to it's extreme repetition and the fact you can only save after you've finished a level, some of which are timed!!I think it'll be a while before I'm tempted to continue.
Slick, sexy but difficult July 3, 2007 D. Climo I haven't played this really since I first bought it about 2-3years ago but I must say I'm tempted to play it again. Also I personally am about to get rid of a load of PS2 games I will probably never play again but intend to keep this so it must be good! Anyway you get to choose wheather to play as Selene (Ms Kate Beckinsale's character in the film) or I think Scott Speedman's character (the werewolf). From then on you get to lead your group of vampires/werewolves into endless battles with the opposing team. You get loads of extras with the game I seem to remember. Anyway graphically it's very good for a bargain title and the playability is not bad at all. Think of it like this, you could do worse and go for Xena: Warrior Princess on PS2 which is crap even for a bargain title.

I bought this game, cos i saw the movie, i was like, thats sooo me!! the movie was great, so i decided id get the game too.... after playing it for about 30mins, i was bored, the game level complexity or should i say simplicity is just soo last century, i mean, a 10yr old could make maps like that, once you know the buttons its pretty straight forward, although this was made up for somwhat by the difficulty of it (i found the all guns blazin' method worked best here, as opposed t o getting right in there with a good kick or a few stung up punches), this is definatly not a game for the melee person, :(the game i have to say, really does let the movie down, so play the game, then watch the movie, else you'll just get your hopes up for a really good game, which im sad to say you wont get.

Do Not Waste Your Money April 11, 2004 11 out of 16 found this review helpful
I brought the game at a budget price off the strength of the movie which while not fantastic it was still cool! As for the game with such a good storyline and characters to use it could've been better The controls were rubbish you need to use both anaglogue sticks one to move and one to look left and right, the fighting was boring and limited to the same repetitive moves, the guns were rubbish and there was hardly any differenc between them, the special abilities as either a vampire or werewolf were rubbish Destructive scenery?!?!?! if you call a few wooden crates every so often destructive scenery then so be it I took the game straight back and got my money back This game is a waste of a good movie licence!!! I wont be buying another game by this developer... ever!
