Rocky is everyone's hero we all love the underdog which Rocky is in Rocky Legends you must earn money to unlock more fighters the game could be better but you may enjoy this game for a quick fix of your favourite boxer. But you will soon get boredwith it even the chant Rocky, Rocky and the theme tune doesn't make you want to play for more than an hour or so.

Rocky was a game with so much expectation. After the succsess of the "Italian Stallion" on our T.V sets, many fans expected the game to be equaly as good. You get many good options like career, movie clips, training etc...In the actual ring, the graphics are good and crowd sound of "Rocky-Rocky..." always raises your opinion of the game but you will find yourself wrestling with buttons.I liked the Career mode but many high-scale parts were dissapointing.Training becomes boring when your trainer keeps going "More Rhythm "but the movie clips you earn remind you of what your playing.Rocky.The Legend.
not bad February 21, 2006 Mr. N. Wildman (Beds, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you bought the first rocky game, you will either hate or love this one. The good features of the first game are still in evidence such as the boxing engine which I think is quite realistic. The power punches are improved and you can now chain together 3 in a row after filling up a momentum bar. The graphics are also much better and the all important sound track is still there! On the flip side, the computer's ability to adapt is a royal pain in the neck. While it does add a level of realism, I think they took it too far. If you go out steaming and use up all your tactics in the first couple of rounds then fair enough the opponent would adapt. This being said it gets to the point especially on contender and champ setting when the computer will block absolutely everything after 3 rounds even when you're mixing up your tactics. The most annoying thing is the fact that when they have adapted (I feel like a trekkie!), they can knock you out of any combo if they block even one of the punches meaning that if you make one mistake then you're likely to get utterly smashed! A good game with some nice features but it can also be immensely frustrating.
INSULT TO ROCKY January 22, 2006 Mr. L. Murray (Bedfordshire, England) 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
I brought this game because i am a huge fan of all the rocky films. To my surprise this game is uter rubbish! The graphics are poor and fighting is even worse! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
