im still waiting! March 12, 2008 Richard Burden (UK) 0 out of 15 found this review helpful
I have had this Wii stand on order since 17 Feb. It is now 12 March and I haven't had even a whisper from anybody to tell me where the stand is, how long it is going to be or even a sorry for the long wait. I am beyond being disappointed and I considering cancelling my order altogether!
Good Product ..But... February 9, 2008 C. Ellis (Colchester, Essex United Kingdom) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
The stand does what it says on the box. Plug in the battery packs provided and charge up the controllers. The write up says that the controller will charge with "Our" skinz still attached, which is probably true, you have to buy Mad Catz Skinz as the Nintendo one provided with the Wii does not have the correct cut outs to allow for charging. Other than that, looks good and keeps everything together.
Great but ot quite brilliant. January 8, 2008 A. Cheung (Upminster, UK) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Techinically speaking the stand is brilliant, and for the money you're paying for it, you couldn't really ask for more. The nunchuck holders were a brilliant idea as well as the LED lights to show how much the remotes had charged up. These turned from red to orange to green once the remotes were fully charged. I also liked the blue LED stripe around the stand, but this is where the stand becomes a slight let down. There's only one switch at the back of the unit to control everything. So, you decide that you want to turn on this blue LED band... well, the only way to do that is by turning on the fan first and then fullying flipping the switch to enable the LED to light up. This wouldn't be so much of a problem but the fan is really quite noisy and unless you turn the sound up on you TV really quite loud, you'll have a constant whirring sound drowning out your game audio. Other than that, this stand was a pretty good buy. Hope this review helps.
A practical all in one station for the wii at last November 17, 2007 Z. Ghani (UK) 36 out of 36 found this review helpful
Ive had this station for a couple of months now and find it superb for storing your wii motes and nunchucks,it also charges your wii motes and has a cooling fan.The reason I give it four stars only is: - It comes with 2 pairs of rechargeble batteries enclosed in a white shell, where the batteries cannot be replaced. - even though it is a practical solution for the Wii,Im not too impressed with the design, but this is my opinion. -The manufactures should have given the option to switch the blue light on or off as it continously stays on. -You will need to buy a pair of penlight batteries for the cooling fan. On the positive side this station will keep your Wii area tidy and charged no doubt.A tip for storing your nunchucks is to rap the nunchuck cord round your finger and then insert the cord curled up in the nunchuck slot first with the usb connection sticking out through the slot provided and the nunchuck will sit in position easily.
