Well done Bethseda July 10, 2008 A. Kirdar When I first played this game I was amazed with the detail put into it, all the lines were speeched, and when you finish the tutorial, you don't have to go and finish the main quest, you can go around looting ruined castle which are guarded by many different people. It could be guarded by necromancers, the undead, bandits and so on. If you want to be a noble warrior you could join the fighters guild or if you want to use magic to vapourise your foes or summon great Daedric or undead creatures, you can join the mages guild. On the other hand if you want to murder people while they sleep and kill people for money, join the dark brotherhood of assasins. Or even become a gladiator and eventually be the grand champion. And last but not least you could join the thieves guild. Or you could join them all! Each one has many hours of gameplay and there own story. With a little bit of patience you can get devoted to this beautiful game. 20 out of 10.
Many Different Solutions May 30, 2008 L. Wallis (London) Gone are the days when I used to be able to play games without my childen finishing them before me. That's why Oblivion is such a great game. Four members of my family are playing it and none of our games are the same. There are so many different quests and styles of gameplay. Whilst I go on a quest to unite the crusaders belongings, my children are moving over to the dark side, pick pocketing innocents and completing quests of mayhem and maiming. This is a fantastic game that all can enjoy and when you watch someone else play the game is so vast that it shouldn't stop your enjoyment.
Quite possibly the greatest game ever? May 26, 2008 Mr. Keith Evans So...this is one of those few games that come along and really break all the boundaries of gaming as we knew it. This is truly an astounding, superb game, and i cannot really fault it.You play in huge open world and can more or less do whatever you please. There is one main storyline, but there are mainy side quests, ranging from working with assassins in the assassins guild, or being a gladiator. Now, I played this game for around 85 or so hours, which by this games standards, is quite short. after I played it for ages, I must have bought a new game, and therefore,I didnt play oblivion for a while, but then, before xmas, I started it again...and be came hooked.i got bored of it again, but then I made a stupid mistake. I sold it. never have i regretted doing that more. There is something about this game, maybe its the music, which, despite repetition, is soothing, calming, and wonderfully orchestrated, and really add this great atmosphere to the whole game. maybe it's the physics, which are great as well, and so is the combat. The graphics are amazing, and there are a huge range of styles in which to dispatch your enemines, although location damage should be better. so I am considering buying it back (MGS4 gets prioity however). This is truly an essential game, near-flawless, and has great value for money. There are not many games that can stick it to this in terms of quality, but Call of duty 4, GTA IV and (probably) MGS4 do. However, Oblivion is one of those rare games of stunning epicness, and should be in your collection. Brilliant stuff.
THE WORLDS GREATEST GAME-THE TRUTH!!!!!!! May 3, 2008 Mr. David Rayburn (London) this is the best game ever made ful stop. the world is absoulutely massive. there is a minimum of 100hours gameplay. the combat is amazing and the towns and detail are oustanding. i have played many games in my life, including GTA IV and i still think this is truly the best game ever made.
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! May 2, 2008 Mr. H. Ward (UK) When I first heard about this game I was spectical. I read reviews saying it was 'like an entire world', i thought how could a computer game do that. Belive me this game does that and much more. before I bought it I watched a couple of video reviews on youtube, I wasn't thst excited and I thought the camera angle looked awful. After buying the game the minute I started playing I was hooked, I have had it for a Fortnight now and I no its the best 20 i have ever spent. It makes you feel like your the game. You choose what you want to do. You can be a powerful wizard, mighty warrior or a petty thieve. There are so many side missions in the game you feel like there is no story, you complete the game at the pace you want, I hjave never played a game that gives you so many options. Youcan go and complete the main quest which takes about 40 hours, all the side quests take about 60 hours. i have had the game for 2 weeks and havn't even started the main story line. This really is the best RPG ever made, probaly the best game. Hope this review has helped.
