I'm a huge shooter fan and have played basically all of the "best" shooters since doom right up until today and I have to say that COD4 destroys all of them its simply the best shooter that has ever been made. If you have not played this think of your favorite shooter. are you thinking of it? good, because call of duty 4 is 10 times better than whatever you are thinking of now and I know this for a fact!!!

COD4 is definitly the best game on the PS3 so far, it presents everything you could wish for in a first person shooter. The single player campaign is brilliant, it is a tad short though. The reason i love this game so much is because of the online game. They have set the online mode up absolutly great, the ranking system is great, lots of good maps and great guns which you unlock at different ranks making the ranks more worth while. The single player is brilliant, but if you are goiing to get the game make sure you have online, otherwise you are mising out on something brilliant.

What can you say about this game?.....simply the best game out and a definate must buy. Although the game is not very long it more than makes up for it with the graphics and game-play.
The story of the game is very good and gives a good insight on modern day warfare. The story pulls you into the game and the sheer smoothness of the game-play you can find yourself lost playin it for hours. Multiplayer is awesome and the different selection of weapons you can use simply adds to the fun of it. I haven't got my PS3 connected to the internet yet but all that i have heard is good things about it so i can't wait to get connected.
This is a definate must buy for any fan of the CoD games as it is in a leaque of it's own, and from what i've seen it's the best PS3 game out at the moment!

Like a fool I only recently purchased this game (about 3 weeks ago) as I was still enjoying RFOM, what a mistake. This game is far superior, it took me a week to make the change fully to the controls (not throwing a grenade every time I wanted to run for instance) but this game is much more responsive. The on-line is all I play which is second to none, weapom upgrades with XP points, choosing your own weapon combinations for the environment your going to play in all add to it's superiority (not to mention graphics, sound & gameplay). I have not picked RFOM back up since buying this game (I was a supreme commander on RFOM) and can not see me going back.

I absoloutely love this game, on multiplayer it really comes alive. You have to use good tactics and be very careful, my favorite level is wet works when you are on ship You can make loads of kills with grenades on this I am currently ranked about 900000 in the world at most things on COD4 and my biggest kill streak is 15 The single game is also amazing taking on various missions such as helicopter and being very queit as a sniper going throuh chernobyl I couldnt recommned it enough, it is simillar to being a soldier inthe fact that you can die at any giving opportunity just you stay alive in this game.
It realay makes use of your brain and has lots of dimensions with the use of 3 possible perks all with a slight advantage
highly recommended
