Not The Same July 8, 2008 Michael L. Boynton Firstly the title, Pro Street. Well it isn't based on streets, it's completely circuits. Everyone enjoyed Need for Speed for high speed street racing not serious track racing. Need for Speed have tried to turn their game into Gran Turismo whixh has disappointed many, including me. Although it is only 15 you just can't get into the game, especially becuase of the time it takes to set u a race. Overall i wouldn't recommend this game, maybe try Race Driver Grid.

Quite a good game March 28, 2008 J. DONNELLY (England) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Despite the bad reviews i took a punt and bought this game. Not bad. Quite fun, fast and action packed. I've not really played previous nfs titles so didn't care too much about no free roam or no police chases etc. Very similar to forza on xbox, paint jobs etc. Online seems a bit rubbish but single player is fun, drag and drift modes are great fun!
HANDLES LIKE A BAR OF SOAP March 27, 2008 mikeeboy (uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i have played the demo of this only as i wouldnt buy it after never playing a decent driving game from ea why should things have changed..could they...maybe the developers have put the effort into the driving model for once. the short answer is no,either that or the ea american team have only ever driven 70's cadillacs and think that all cars drive that way.this game is so obviously a port from the stuttering frame rate to the ropey graphics which look like they were ported from the pc 5 years ago.load this up after gt5 prologue and it looks like a cheeky burglar has swapped your ps3 for a ps2. last of all as a driving game lives or dies by how good the actual driving part is and although this doesnt seem to bother a lot of kids who dont know the difference between rear wheel drive and front wheel drive, mid engine, front engine, oversteer, understeer power oversteer etc..... it bothers the rest of us!!! and god its painful to watch a nissan gtr understeer round a corner at 30mph,its also unforgivable and typical of the tripe that ea come up with! if you want arcadey buy burnout,if you want realistic buy gt5 prologue or dirt,if you want rubbish then buy this.
What Happened To Need For Speed March 18, 2008 Mr. G. C. Campbell (Glasgow, Scotland, UK) Ok, first thing is the graphics, visual effects and customisation are what you would expect from EA. There is a great range of different cars that can be customised to extraordinary lengths. However, if you liked the cops breathing down your neck, trying to ram you off the road, and total your car... then this game is not for you. EA have decided to make ProStreet a very realistic game, very much like Gran Turismo but with the abilty for customisation. EA have created a game that is too realistic for everybodys liking. The one word to sum up this game would be... "Disappointment"
