This game is superb. Great fun and I'd recommend it to anyone. If people are having timing problems, then they need only to sync the game to their system which is easily done. Buy it, love it!

Do yourself a favour and buy it from HMV - currently they have it on sale for 45.
Seriously good fun, medium level is challenging for me, hard speaks for itself, expert you will need the dexterity of a 14 year future fighter pilot. A good range of songs to learn and have fun with. Its the one PS3 game that everyone in my family enjoys. Prepare for GH3 claw hand, those who play it a lot will know what I mean

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE BUY THIS GAME!!!!
Unlike the XBOX 360, PS2 and Wii versions which work perfectly, the Playstation 3 version is so frustrating that after 45 minutes I've repacked it ready for return.
NO matter where you buy this game, it WILL NOT BE IN SYNC with the video or audio. I know this because i have completed the all the games on expert on PS2, 360 and Wii. The fault is entirely with the game and controller, and effects every product. If your playing on easy/medium don't worry. But if you want to enjoy the game fully, your hopes will be dashed I'm affraid.
If you want to play this game, search Amazon for a PS2, a 360 or a Wii. The Playstation 3 version is worse than useless!!!!!
Please take my advice on this, or risk becoming very upset and disappointed like I am. Makes me wish i bought an xbox 360 instead of a PS3. I loved GH until i played it for the PS3. UTTERLY GUTTED

Asda is selling this game and guitar pack for under 60 I sugggest you visit a nearby store and avoid the high costs on here and the delivery charges.

my son bought this at the weekend and we've played it to death since - I keep kicking him off so I can play - it's stunning - I don't play the guitar in real life and we never had the PS2 version so I can't compare but it really feels like you're playing a real guitar!! so much better than air guitar!
as for the songs - I'm not so keen on the thrash stuff but most of it is really good, some of the songs you think you don't know but when you've heard them you'll recognise them and even the "new" ones are really catchy and you'll find yourself humming them the next day at work.
and they're bringing an aerosmith version out in a couple of months HEAVEN!
