Not Brilliant June 4, 2008 F. Murray (Bradford United Kingdom) I bought this game after seeing the trailer - I was hoping that at last a good game was available for the PS3 (Most games I have played on the PS3 thus far have not done the platform justice) and I was yet again let down by this game and the PS3. The game constantly crashes just when it looks like its getting interesting. I am at the point of getting rid of the PS3 and buying a 360.
Disappointing May 23, 2008 Benjamin (Bournemouth) Boring side quests, mediocre graphics (looks like its a PS2 port), and repetitive fight sequences. On the plus side, it is very satisfying chopping enemies limbs off. It's a nice idea, having a hack and slash RPG, but this one just doesn't work. Heavenly Sword is much more fun than this and has far more depth to the fighting (and it's only 14.99~ on pre-owned now).
DISAPPOINTMENT May 21, 2008 V (Scotland) Saw the trailers and thought this would be AMAZING!!! Took it straight back the day after buying it and I enjoy mindless button bashing!!! Slow, dull and frustrating. Thought it would have all the best bits of God of War, Champions of Norrath and Dynasty Warriors combined. It doesn't. It's crap.
good, good and gooder May 13, 2008 Michaela Lacher 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
this is the best game i ever played the gameplay is the best and i cant discribe the graphics, because they are so good i would recommend it to everybody who likes killing
Buggy May 7, 2008 A. Robbins (Cornwall) This is a good game for a no brainer hack and slash but it fails to deliver on it's potential. The sameness of your enemies and the similar sameness of your attacks grows old very quickly. There are also problems with the game in that it freezes when the action is getting good. I'm unsure if there is a fix for this now but when I bought the game I was unable to complete it because of this and have since returned it. Not A bad idea but fails in execution.
