It really ought to be made clear that this adaptor will not work with anything but Sony 8MB cards. My PS3 will not recognise the MAX Memory 64MB card in this adaptor at all.
A complete waste of money (for me).

Do not attempt to copy your data from PS3 back to your PS2 memory
this will corrupt the memory card & you can never use it again
i have already lost 2 cards ,wish i had read the reviews first

###warning### The snakebyte cannot write your saves back from the ps3 to a ps2 memory card, and it will corrupt the ps2 card if you try to do so. I have destroyed two of my cards, which I cannot even format now.

Worked fine, first time, no problems.
The only thing was, I kinda felt like I had paid a tenner for something I used for 30 seconds and then will never need again.

this works perfectly but it will only work with 8mb memory cards, this is not a fault of either the adaptor or PS3, the only reason this is so... is because the PS3 makes internal memory cards that can only hold 8000kb (8mb) at most, the way to get around this for your bigger cards is to either copy them to a 8mb card OR copy them to computer with special software which will partition the data and trick the PS3 that it has a 8mb one in it.... unfortunately this adaptor does not have this software but another one on this site does, made buy datel, just type in (Memory reader) in PC&Videogames to find it......
