We bought this game for our grandsons but they soon tired of it once they'd unlocked all the extras. However, I have become addicted to it- barely a day goes by without my husband and I playing a few holes and if he doesn't feel like playing it is very easy to either play against the computer characters or even go into training mode (I like this mode as you can keep retaking shots until you perfect your technique).I don't think anyone who seriously likes golf would enjoy this game but this 63 year old granny absolutely loves it!

Please don't be put off by any bad reviews of this game... we got the game for a tenner off Ebay and it has turned out to a fantastic bargain buy. Yes, I agree that it's definately not for serious golfers as it is very cartoony, but it is highly addictive. I bought it a week ago (a couple of days after getting as Mario Kart) and haven't put another game in the Wii since then (including the much awaited for Mario Kart!). The game can be a little girly with the clothes changes etc but it really doesn't take away from the gameplay (and the addition of certain items of clothing actually add to your stats and to the gameplay). We don't play using the swing function but use the button control which once you get used to it, works really well (and by the WE i mean me (who's 32) and my husband (who's 42!!!!). We play both singly and against each other. It is a shame that you can't multiplay worldwide like on Mario Kart but the multiplay is still very good. So, next time you want a fun little multiplayer game for young and old, be brave and give Pangya! a try..... you WON'T regret it, I promise!!!!

I used to play PANGYA online on my PC and IT AN AWESOME GAME! It was addictive and extremely fun.
When I saw this game out for the wii I almost flipped out in joy and bought it. I was ready for the same adventure but playing it on my WII! To my heart's discontent (:P) PANGYA for the wii is not online.
To me, this game has no point unless it is online. This is a subjective point of view and it probably arises from the fact that I relate it directly to the PC Pangya online game, but to be honest, I believe they should have called it something different or made it clear it was not to be the same experience as for the PC. It is as if World of Warcraft is published for the Wii but as a 1 player game and not online!
If you like the idea of playing some funky golf with a modified cartoon of your choice, this is your game, be aware it is not online though (pity because it would have been so gooooood!!!)

Tried this game as we wanted more golf in the style of Wii Sports. This is nothing like it and was irritatingly silly. Unlike all the other Wii games I've tried this one is not intuitive and there is a steep learning curve. Clearly many people like it, but we gave up on it.

This is a great game. The controls are a bit of a pain to start off with until you get used to them but thats the same with any game. I found the game enjoyable to play,it is not really any good for those who like a realistic game of golf but is more for those who enjoy golf but want more of a fun game then a serious one. If I had to give this game an overall score out of 10 then I would score it 8 as it really is fun, the graphics are good and the various game options (such as different courses and game modes) mean you can vary your game each time so you are not playing the same thing over and over again.
